Keith L. Hurd

Gilmanton-----Keith L. Hurd, 78, of 20 Sapwood Avenue, died at his home on Saturday, October 26, 2002.

Mr. Hurd was born November 25, 1923 in Laconia, NH, the son of Robert and Eva (Shackford) Hurd. He had been a resident of Gilmanton for the last 30 years coming from Belmont. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII.

Mr. Hurd was employed as a machinist at Scott & Williams for 23 years. He was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Lodge #32 F. & A. M.

Survivors include his wife, Amelia M. (Nelson) Hurd of Gilmanton; a son, Keith W. Hurd of Franklin; two brothers, Lawrence E. Hurd of Lakeport and Charles A Hurd of Florida; a sister, Frances Fielders of Laconia; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a son PFC. Jay A. Hurd, in 1966.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at the Family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia on Friday, November 1, 2002 at 11:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 N. Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
